Naked Beer Beef Burgers



  • 1lb ground beef
  • Finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ¾ tsp pepper
  • ¾ tsp of cayenne pepper
  • Big dash of beer

Mix everything together in a bowl/blender.  Shape into patties/burger shapes and coat with coconut oil (this will melt on your fingers), lay on a plate and dust with flour and leave in fridge for 2 hours min.

Pressing you thumb into the centre before cooking – this helps it cook evenly and will re-rise once cooked.  Fry in coconut oil or grill – usually 5-7 minutes, and serve with a side salad and lentils/quinoa and hummus
